'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League homecoming

Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently two years through the four-year contract he inked when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.

The veteran forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the first significant honor of his notable career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England captain has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he earlier was, and would definitely contemplate prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he commented.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk and have an honest conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
